ENGINEER
Ash Smith is an engineer, producer & musician based in the UK. He studied under producer Mikko Gordon (Thom Yorke, The Smile, Arcade Fire) at Goldsmiths London, and has spent the past decade developing his work as an engineer and producer, establishing LIGHTSWITCH in 2023. Since this time, he’s worked with a wide range of artists and labels including Niche Crush, Viktus, Circular Illusion, Crossworlder, Mother Night, Bicycle Trip, Dead Horse, Sammy O Salmista, and AK7.

PROCESS
A straightforward yet collaborative process for Mixing and Mastering.
GENERAL LEAD TIMES
Mixing - 1 song: 2-3 days, 10-track album: 7-14 days
Mastering - 1 song: 1-2 days, 10-track album: 2-5 days
ENQUIRY
After receiving your enquiry, we'll chat about your project to iron out the particulars.
You fill out a quick intake form and send over the project files along with any references or demos.
DRAFT / REVISION
You'll be sent an initial draft and may request any revisions or adjustments you feel are needed. This part of the process is relaxed and there is no hard limit for revisions.
DELIVERY
When the work has been signed off, the mix or master is then finalised for release and all project deliverables are created and sent over for download.
